Club Launchpad is FREE right now
We don't charge clubs or members anything at the moment. Every feature is free to use, including the directory of clubs, which will stay free.
Our promises if that changes:
- We'll only ever charge clubs that are up and running, and we'll give them at least three months' notice first.
- No club will be charged without agreeing to it first.
- A proposed club that doesn't get enough support to found will never be charged.
- Searching for and joining clubs will always be free for members.
If your club takes card payments for dues or events, Stripe charges its own fee on each payment. That goes to Stripe, not to us.
How we might pay our way in future
If the site gets popular, it will cost money to run, and we'll need to charge someone something. We haven't decided how yet, and we'd love to know what you think. Here are the two ideas we're considering. Let us know which you'd prefer, or suggest something else, on our contact page.
Idea 1: a small cut of online payments
We would take a small percentage of the payments clubs take by card through the site, alongside Stripe's fee. Clubs that don't take payments online wouldn't pay anything, and the cost would grow with how much a club uses the site.
Idea 2: a monthly plan based on club size
Clubs would pay a monthly or yearly fee, depending on how many members they have. Card payments would only carry Stripe's fee. These prices are only an idea, and nobody is being charged them.
