Add a Club to Club Launchpad

The first 6 months are free. It's free for members to search and join clubs.

Existing clubs

Do you have an existing club which you want help to manage?

How can we help you run your club?

  • Allow new members to find and join your club. Or you can set to members only to only have existing members join.
  • Schedule meetings which will appear in your members calendar.
  • Send announcements to members.
  • Accounts - let all members and leaders know who owes what and why.
  • Events - for those clubs that want to run events for members that are not for everyone or come with their own separate charge. Advertise and manage signups for this.
  • Easily make posters with qrcodes for your club or events.
  • Set club rules can be set on the site which allows new members to see the rules before they sign up.

You should be authorised by the leadership team of the existing club to add the club here. Someone (probably you) will need to come here and check membership requests at the very least, and if that isn't done people will be confused and disappointed. So please only do this after discussion.

You can remove the club from ClubLaunchpad after if you decide against using our site.

Please choose a name that includes both what you do and where you will be based.

Please pick a category for your club

Feel free to contact us if you think we should add more here.

Membership Requirements

Here we ask who can be members of your club. These numbers are all in addition to you, the founder.

We require that "leaders" also be adults. So if you set the Minimum adults to "2" and leaders to "1" your club will require at least 2 adults one of which has said they will help as a leader.

In the UK if you have 25 or more members in total you are subject to the Equality Act and your rules and policies must be non-discriminatory toward the "protected characteristics", which are: disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race – this includes ethnic or national origins, colour and nationality, religion or belief – this includes lack of belief, sex, and sexual orientation.

If you want to read more, the government have a » Quickstart Guide for Private Clubs and Other Associations, which we think is pretty good, and a clear read.

If your club is going to be less than 25 people in total the leaflet above says the act doesn't apply.

Member information

When a user asks to join your club we ask them for permission to give you their personal information. Here you can decide what additional information you will need for your club.

Think about this carefully. If you don't need information, don't collect it. It's just a headache. You can change this later, but it will only work for new members.

This is the information you will get as a minimum:

  • The name of the User using the site.
  • The name of the Person the application to your club is for.
  • An email address to contact the User.
  • The relation between the user and the person in the application.

Note: Club launchpad allows people who operate the site ("Users") to manage more than one person. For example a Mother could manage details for her children. So we have a distinction between the "User" and the "Person" who is the "Member".

If you mark these as YES and the user doesn't agree you won't get them as a member. Choose "Eventually" instead to simply indicate you will ask for this information in person later.
